  • A1 – Jamie Trench – Where the party at
  • A2 – Reece Johnson – Let’s Dance
  • B1 – J.Morrison – Brown Eyes
  • B2 – G.Markus – BING!

Roots for Bloom is back with Volume 5 of its S.H.A.G Edits series which kicks off strong with label boss Jamie Trench’s Old School 90’s Hip Hop inspired House cut “Where The Party At”.  Lots of old school sample flavour in this bumping track.

Reece Johnson who has had some strong releases lately on nice underground labels such as Fresche Fruchte and Snazzy Traxx, provides some serious disco boogie via his track “Let’s Dance”.  Going deeper into some serious disco funkiness we have “Brown Eyes” produced by a new comer from Bistol, UK: J.Morrison.  On the last track “BING!” on the VA EP G.Markus takes us back to some gritty deep house complete with raunchy vocal stabs and dirty chords.

This whole package is very strong and has enough variety to hold down most dance floors.
